We are looking for the perfect candidate for our Director of Dining at our Orchard Pointe at Terrazza location

This is an exciting opportunity to join our Great Management team in an innovative senior living community. You will manage all aspects of our dietary program and must be someone who is passionate about our industry and the residents we serve.

You will plan, coordinate and control meals to meet the dietary needs of our residents. As well as, supervise and schedule dietary associates to ensure quality service standards are exceeded. Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills. Minimum five years Executive Chef/Dietary Supervisor experience preferred.

Responsibilities and Duties:

1. Oversees menu cycles and menu planning for all communities with regard to budgeted food cost, quality standards, operational feasibility and resident satisfaction.

2. Develops, executes and maintains an efficient Food Purchasing Program Formulary, standardizing food purchases and ensuring overall consistency of quality products.

3. Develops, executes, and monitors an effective inventory management system for each community.

4. Works with GPO and mainline food vendor to ensure menu is priced out at a level to achieve company's food cost goals and ensures that the Dining Services Directors are compliant with the food purchasing programs.

5. Works with the Dining Services Directors to ensure that each community is staffing appropriately for each meal and using hours efficiently.

6. Provides and establishes consistent on-site and remote training resources and leadership for all newly hired and seasoned Dining Services Directors, Chefs and Cooks.

7. Provides and establishes consistent on-site and remote hospitality training including customer service, sanitation, and proper service etiquette.

8. Works closely with the Dining Services Directors to ensure that the communities are in compliance with all company policies and procedures related to food and dining services corporate foodservice standards.
