The Orchard Pointe at Arrowhead in Glendale, AZ an independent, memory and assisted living community has an opening for a Licensed Practical Nurse.

The successful candidate will assist the Director of Healthcare with the care of residents and supervision of direct care associates.

Duties:

•Administers medicine following policy and procedures.

•Charts appropriately on each resident as necessary and writes/records objectively any information that must be passed along to other shifts.

•Reports to residents' physician any changes in resident's condition and obtains physicians' orders when needed.Assists residents with care according to residents' individual service plan.

•Assists Director of Healthcare with on-going evaluations, chart audits, associate supervision and training, resident and family communication and any other tasks delegated by the Director of Healthcare.

Qualifications:

•Must have a state appropriate actual and discipline-free LPN license.

•Prefer experience with senior living.

•Possess excellent written and verbal communication skills.

•Must be in good general health and able to move, stoop, bend and lift 25 pounds intermittently throughout the workday.
