Exciting opportunity to be a member of our team at The Heritage at Legacy Independent, Assisted Living & Memory Support located in West Omaha. We are seeking a Full or Part-time Evening Care Staff associates to work Evening shift 3pm-11pm. We offer shift differential and special weekend only scheduling differential for associates.

The primary role of our Care Staff (CNA) at Heritage Communities is centered support and assistance to residents allowing them to enjoy their highest level of independence while receiving the necessary care and service to meet their changing needs.

The Care Staff (CMA) at Heritage Communities provides resident care services and administration of medications which includes charting, reporting and monitoring resident’s condition. These associates require a Certified Medication Aides in addition to their responsibilities. All Certified Medication Aides work as CMA’s and also work as Care Staff/CNA duties with providing all aspects of care to our residents as well.

Duties:
• Answer call lights promptly and care for residents’ needs.
• Strive to help residents become and stay as independent as possible.
• Perform duties in accordance with policies and procedures initiated by the community.
• Medication Aide will pass medicine according to policy and procedures of the community.
• Chart appropriately on each resident as necessary.
• Assists any resident with care as directed by resident’s individual service plan.

Requirements:
• Must be at least 18 years old
• Must be a Certified Nursing Assistant and/or 40-hour Medication Aide according to Nebraska state regulation.
• Must have current First Aid and CPR or complete within 30 days of hire (available through employer)
• Must demonstrate compassion for seniors.
• Good verbal and written communication skills.

Shifts: Full or Part Time Evening Shift 3pm-11pm
